Register now for the 3rd annual Technology Showcase! The 2019 Technology Showcase will again highlight technologies being developed at the NCI and Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR) to encourage technology licensing and collaborations, startup company formation and the translation of NCI discoveries into solutions that benefit patients.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

  • Free, half-day event
  • Hear from NCI and FNLCR inventors about technologies primed for technology commercialization and/or collaboration; great opportunity for regional companies and biotech stakeholders.
  • Panel sessions focused on technology commercialization
  • Poster session highlighting 10 NIH technologies for available for collaborative development and/or licensing presented by the NCI Technology Transfer Ambassadors Program 
  • Networking, including event following the Tech Showcase

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

Richard Bendis, President and CEO of BioHealth InnovationMr. Bendis is the Founder, President and CEO of BioHealth Innovation, Inc. He is an entrepreneur, corporate executive, venture capitalist, investment banker, innovation and technology-based economic development leader, international speaker and consultant in the technology and healthcare industries. He currently serves as the founding President and CEO of Innovation America (IA), a national public-private partnership focused on accelerating the growth of innovation economy in America. As one of the most recognized experts in the field of innovation economy, Mr. Bendis has served on numerous distinguished boards and task forces including the White House U.S. Innovation Partnership Advisory Task Force, the Small Business Innovation Research Committee, the National Association of State Venture Funds board; State Science and Technology Institute, and the Ernst and Young Entrepreneurial Institute as a national/regional Judge and Entrepreneur of the Year winner.
